Further up the ladder

Whaah! I can’t deem that time is running so fast – that a day will just become an hour and the next morning you wake up, you will just be surprised that it is your graduation day already. There are few days left before the opening of class this year. And I am very excited and thrilled about it, for I would now be experiencing my senior years. Whaah! Graduation is near also; I can smell now the bacon that is cooking. However, I am afraid of graduation for I am not sure if after it I will be confident enough to face and take my paths on my own. Looking back from the few years I been through in college I have evaluated myself so feeble and frail still. Some say I am statically gullible and very trusting in dealing and having matter to other persons. They say that it has become my weakness and I am vulnerable of it. On the contrary, I did not see it as a chink in my part in fact I feel win-win over it. A tamed wolf will best represent me in this aspect. I might simply appear to them as Mar...

My first Vote!

I am a first time voter and I am very excited to exercise my Right of suffrage and to participate in this year’s elections. Whaah! Finally, I’ll be experiencing how indelible the ink they will be using to mark my involvement. With that mark, I hope my vote can effect change in the situation of our country. Please have time to make effort to know our candidates and make an informed comparison of the choices before us. We must guard our votes once we have cast them, by taking part in citizens’ actions to ensure that are votes are properly and accurately accounted for. And importantly, we must vote for candidates according to their potential for responsible leadership, and not for any other reason. If we fail in these most basic of our democratic responsibilities, then we cannot complain about the people who rule over us, for we always get the leaders we deserve. Below is the list of [10] senatorial candidates that I would probably entrust my vote with. Under their name are the platforms ...

MUTIful Summer!

Image
From left: Ate Angel (MUTI System Programmer II), Jomae (the database manager of the team), Me ( Head programmer, System Analyst), Gerard (Programmer, GUI/Interface Designer). The Team is about to have their Presentation of the Proposal for the Accounting System of ADC-JVC and for the signing for approval of the proposal. Whaah! At the moment I have a total 144 training hours as apprentice at the MIS Department of Marbel Universal Trading Inc. and I still have to get 96 more hours to complete my requirement in my course for this summer apprenticeship training. I attend to the office and sit there in front of [my] Computer for eight hours every day, Monday to Saturday. It was a skillful training fitted for our field of specialization. It integrates the things we have learned in school to practice. Programming was never been easy since before I have entered the world of it and has pretended to be geeky in practice. But with this training I have in MUTI, I appreciate now the effort of a ...

The last piece of the potato fries

I hope that the ending would be like blood and chocolates. But it would never be. Ours is different, it is more complicated than the mythical luguro love story. Life is sweet like chocolates, those days that we are both happy, we don’t worry about tomorrow, of what concern us as long as we are both together. We know that it will not last but it will be forever. Though it hurts, as red as the Blood I will still have the feeling I have before. I know and I am thankful that you feel the same way too. I’ll treasure every moment we have had, even how stupid some of those are. I learned and I’ll be a better person. Though this is the last stick of the potato fries, I still crave for gravy. Whaah! But, I think will not eat it. I’ll just keep it in the refrigerator. We will be Scientists of our own. Bestfriends we will be.
