bday bash

Well, how was my birthday yesterday? How did I celebrate my very SPECIAL/LUCKY DAY? It was super fun. That was one of the best birthday party I have had in my first twenty one years here on earth. It was well-spent because of you guys (my family, blogger friends, college friends, best friends, co-leaders, Pathways family, TOSP family, TYG family, and many more). I spent the fantastic night with my TOSP friends (Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines) in the GK designer’s night (cocktail party) organized by Tony Meloto, the founder of Gawad Kalinga (GK) to celebrate the hero-ship of young leaders who work on nation building at NBC tent, global city, Taguig. It was a great event; top executives of established companies, eminent political leaders ( including Vice President Noli de Castro ) and academic leaders, and professionals were there to commemorate my birthday and the event ( the latter is true ). Ryan Cayabyab and his singers entertained us. After the event, we hopped in ba...

9th t'nalak festival in south cotabato

Image
KORONADAL CITY, Philippines (my hometown) — The ninth edition of the annual T’nalak Festival of South Cotabato kicked on July 11, Friday to once again showcase the province’s investment and tourism potentials. Activities lined up for the festivities include an agri-trade fair, bazaars, concerts, cultural shows, street dancing competition, grand fireworks display competition and visits to various tourism attractions in the province. The activities will culminate on July 18, the province’s foundation anniversary. For the festival schedule of activities click here . FYI: The festival was named after the T’nalak, an indigenous, colorful cloth woven by women of the T’boli tribe. The cloth has brought recognition to the province in the national and international scene. It is said that the design of the t'nalak cloth was a creative pattern that the women of t'boli tribe dreamed. This is my first time not to witness the festival but I'll be celebrating it with them still. ...

Coke Zero and the party

Image
This maybe late but I’m still posting it. Coca cola bloggers party at Taste Asia Last Friday, June 27 at Taste Asia in MOA , the Coca-Cola Philippines and SM Hypermarket sponsored a bloggers party – The Buhay Coke bloggers party . I’m a Coke addict and the event motivated me to attend the party which ended cool because I enjoyed and have fun best. I’ve seen and met some bloggers behind the endless pages online. The event was fun and full of surprises. They have promoted Coke Zero , a coca-cola soda reformulated to bring you a taste of a sugarless cola drink. It would be a best alternative less-sugar cola diet. Taste it to experience. hundreds of Coke Zero cases to experience All bloggers who attended the event brought home a case of 330ml Coke Zero (in can). Great prizes were given also to lucky bloggers who won in the games - SM Science Discovery Center Passes, iMax Cinena Tickets, and Coke Dining Set. The event also serves as a venue where Plurkers and Twitters met. It is a total...

on sunday

On Sunday, my father will be celebrating his 52nd birthday! Our family will be going to the beach for the celebration. It’s been long since the last time we organized a party for my father’s birthday. I invited some of my classmates and friends to come with us. My mother is so excited about the celebration. It will also serve as a venue for both of us to be more bonded. I am not well bonded with my father because we have opposing character and attitude. We always result to debate and argument and he stands every time correct. I am not competing with him against in his principles and philosophies in life, I just would like him to listen and understand us. But his superiority does not take away my respect for him. Sometimes, to avoid such situation, I just keep my mouth shut and quiet in the corner. I understand him because he also wants to feel our presence and love in the house. The case is that, I am having difficulty in disclosing some feelings to him because he is too hard to penet...

a treat

Image
I was at McGregor yesterday together with Ate Sandra , Ayel , and Kix . We went there to treat ourselves for our own happy celebration. It was unplanned, unexpectedly, each one of us have the same thing in mind – to refresh our minds and soul. We sipped some coffee that feels good in taste. We enjoyed the stay there though it was a very expensive treat. ( lol) Having a coffee break with Ayel and Ate Sandra. And also with Ate Kix promoting Ayel’s final President’s Report Later, Ate San, I'll let you read it! Treating? Or threatening? Ayel joked in, Mark, your birthday must be celebrated everyday this whole week. Where will we be tomorrow? I just laughed at it. Ate Sandra added, It’s possible, Mark, since you have two birth date; August 08 as your real birthday and August 13 as your legal birth date (birth certificate date), you can celebrate it week long. Today is the pre-celebration, mark. Sure I can celebrate it everyday this week but only to commemorate the days between the...

Having a break…

Last day we attended the birthday party of Kuya Ayel at Alabel and have planned to extend it overnight at Crystal Island Beach (well its not that soundly organized but it ended so great. random pictures will be posted soon). It was raining and the air was cold that day but, we never let it ruin the party. We really have great time with each other. We mounted sand castles, made sand sculptures that cover our body in the long shoreline of the white beach and unlimitedly swimmed to the waters of the virgin sea of Gumasa. I really enjoyed the night, with them, with the place. What was great is that we have taken pictures with the life and have posed for it capably. Moreover, being in the place will surely make you feel that you’re in paradise and have blend with the elements of the nature. It was indeed a simple but wonderful party filled with fun and laughter and with unending sharing of anything that will pop-up in the air.
