SOCCSarGen bloggers meetup

Last Sunday, bloggers from SOCCSarGen area held a meetup to get to know each other and to celebrate our ideas for Mindanao. Bloggers, Ariel Lalisan based from Saranggani Province, Avel Manansala, Hector Miñoza, and Job Oberio and his wife Leizel who were from general santos, and Bro. Vince Celeste, FMS and me from South Cotabato were present to enjoy a free treat from one of GenSan’s classy places – The Coffee Club 101 at Grab-a-Crab Resto is the newest Coffee Café to hang out which serves affordable coffees and cakes.

Coffee Club 101 is situated at Grab-a-Crab Restaurant, Laurel St., General Santos City. The place is cool and commodious, making it a suitable place for whooping experience treat, relaxing break, and mainly coffee treat gatherings and at night, yet, it’s big enough to hold business meetings and even romantic date.

The coffee trip's arrangement was an afternoon treat, Mr. Mike Wee, owner of Coffee Club 101, did not hesitate to generously serve us with both hot and cold coffees and also with tasteful cakes. They served us almost everything they got from their menu.

The group discussed the Blog seminar I have had organized zealously and we were too excited for more events like this in the future.

Each of us had dipped, nipped, and sipped the taste of its coffee specialty and tartlets and cakes which will give you a whooping experience. I had Mocha Vanilla, a blending of espresso, mocha, and vanilla cream as crown of the coffee presentation which is perfect for a cold soothing feeling you will surely savor- an Espresso Chillino experience. I had tasted also the coffee shop’s Date Toffee Pudding and Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake were sugary sweet and syrupy pastry.

graduation day

The New Hobby - Wakeboarding!

Last week, we went to the South, CWC (CamSur WaterSports Complex), CamSur for a short vacation that was extended for 2 more days because of the typhoon threat in the province. It was indeed the coolest weekend ever! I learned the art of wakeboarding in their cable park there. I was inspired and was able to practice some stunts and played wakeboarding with a jump start. Now, it will be my new hobby and sport. On that vacation, I realized that wake boarding was a good athletic exercise for abdomenal and body build up. I hope to do it often (with friends) as hobby. We also have witness the best Asians riders compete for the top rank in the 3rd stop of the Asian Wakepark Tour which is the 2nd Asian Wakepark Championship in CWC . We joined and watched also the premiere of Aquafrolics: A Wakeskate movie at the Poolside and party with the people there. Also pack of candies and fun were given to us for joining trick or treating in our last minute in the place before we went back to Manil
