Are Filipinos Stupid?

Why would a fellow Filipino described “Filipinos are stupid”? This happened on one of my wall posts regarding the topic of DOT's marketing strategy for tourism. The conversation was diverted to blaming Filipinos being stupid. If you are concerned about this thought, care to share your findings?

Well, most of the Filipinos are still ignorant, if not stupid. True, they just afraid to admit it.

It's not nationality that determines smartness of a person, nor skin color, it's the environment / exposure.

An intellectually below average person at birth exposed to good learning environment, can at most times on the average be better than an intellectually born genius locked in a non-conducive environment.

graduation day

52nd Commencement Exercise (Notre Dame of Marbel University) 2008 I was just wondering why time flies so fast. Yesterday was my last day as a student. The New Hobby - Wakeboarding!

Last week, we went to the South, CWC (CamSur WaterSports Complex), CamSur for a short vacation that was extended for 2 more days because of the typhoon threat in the province. It was indeed the coolest weekend ever! I learned the art of wakeboarding in their cable park there. I was inspired and was able to practice some stunts and played wakeboarding with a jump start. Now, it will be my new hobby and sport. On that vacation, I realized that wake boarding was a good athletic exercise for abdomenal and body build up. I hope to do it often (with friends) as hobby. We also have witness the best Asians riders compete for the top rank in the 3rd stop of the Asian Wakepark Tour which is the 2nd Asian Wakepark Championship in CWC . We joined and watched also the premiere of Aquafrolics: A Wakeskate movie at the Poolside and party with the people there. Also pack of candies and fun were given to us for joining trick or treating in our last minute in the place before we went back to Manil
