I need a Hero


A friend gave me a Christmas gift. A Hero (Be Somebody) Novelty photo holder! This was for being recognized as a modern hero. I thought that was absolutely awesome, and a bit random. So it got me thinking – what is the best or strangest gift you’ve ever received last holidays?

The gift is now displayed in the cabinet of my toy collections. This simple gift always reminds me that even superheros need a hero - I need one.

who doesn't need one anyway? we fall. we stumble. but for people who have their own heroes, to succumb is not (and will never be) an option. and that's the good thing about having a hero in your life --- he/she helps you appreciate the goodness of life.

continue to be an inspiration to others. i know you'll find your own hero pretty soon.

p.s.: superheroes need melons, too. it keeps them healthy. gusto mo melon, geng? hahahaha.

A hero is someone who will make one safe and secure in times of need. I agree, that they also help one to appreciate life.

graduation day

52nd Commencement Exercise (Notre Dame of Marbel University) 2008 I was just wondering why time flies so fast. Yesterday was my last day as a student. The New Hobby - Wakeboarding!

Last week, we went to the South, CWC (CamSur WaterSports Complex), CamSur for a short vacation that was extended for 2 more days because of the typhoon threat in the province. It was indeed the coolest weekend ever! I learned the art of wakeboarding in their cable park there. I was inspired and was able to practice some stunts and played wakeboarding with a jump start. Now, it will be my new hobby and sport. On that vacation, I realized that wake boarding was a good athletic exercise for abdomenal and body build up. I hope to do it often (with friends) as hobby. We also have witness the best Asians riders compete for the top rank in the 3rd stop of the Asian Wakepark Tour which is the 2nd Asian Wakepark Championship in CWC . We joined and watched also the premiere of Aquafrolics: A Wakeskate movie at the Poolside and party with the people there. Also pack of candies and fun were given to us for joining trick or treating in our last minute in the place before we went back to Manil
