3rd MINCON and LET 2007

Pathways to Higher Education-Mindanao has been empowering college students as instruments in fulfilling the dreams of intellectually gifted but financially underprivileged public high school students to enter college. And as part of the community development they continually embrace the mission of Pathways in creating a society where there is equity to higher education and in molding future Filipino leaders. Currently, there are seven Pathways Youth Groups in various universities and colleges through out Mindanao.
On it’s third year of continuous service to Mindanaoan Youth, Pathways to Higher Education will be holding Mindanao Volunteers’ Convention dubbed as “Moving Ahead”. The said convention will be on the 28th to the 30th of October at Punta Isla Lake Resort, Lake Sebu South Cotabato. The convention will be attended by student leaders and their moderators from Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Tacurong, Marbel and Zamboanga.
This convention aims to provide an opportunity where they can acquire supplemental learning at the same time share and celebrate their voluntary service.
A registration fee of Three Hundred Fifty Pesos (Php 350.00) will be required from each participant to defray expenses for food and accommodation (for 2 nights and three days) and convention kits.
We hope that through this event we will be able to build Paths for a Better Mindanao.

After the 1st Mindanao Blogger Summit at davao I must be at Lake Sebu the next day because I will be one of the facilitators of the Convention.

graduation day

52nd Commencement Exercise (Notre Dame of Marbel University) 2008 I was just wondering why time flies so fast. Yesterday was my last day as a student. The New Hobby - Wakeboarding!

Last week, we went to the South, CWC (CamSur WaterSports Complex), CamSur for a short vacation that was extended for 2 more days because of the typhoon threat in the province. It was indeed the coolest weekend ever! I learned the art of wakeboarding in their cable park there. I was inspired and was able to practice some stunts and played wakeboarding with a jump start. Now, it will be my new hobby and sport. On that vacation, I realized that wake boarding was a good athletic exercise for abdomenal and body build up. I hope to do it often (with friends) as hobby. We also have witness the best Asians riders compete for the top rank in the 3rd stop of the Asian Wakepark Tour which is the 2nd Asian Wakepark Championship in CWC . We joined and watched also the premiere of Aquafrolics: A Wakeskate movie at the Poolside and party with the people there. Also pack of candies and fun were given to us for joining trick or treating in our last minute in the place before we went back to Manil
