Aethen for Bariles Republic Congratulations to Ms. Janette Toral for the successful writing project this year, the search for the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs , last Monday, 11 August 2008 , at The Legend Villas, Mandaluyong, Manila . The project acquired a remarkable response from bloggers across the blogosphere. I was not a winner or a nominee in this year’s search but was privileged to have had witnessed the naming of the most influential bloggers 2008. This year's most influential bloggers with project organizer Janette Toral. Photo credit to http://www.manilablogtimes.com/ One of the winners was Sir Avel Manansala of Bariles Republic who was from General Santos city and a fellow SOCCSKSarGen blogger . bday bash

Well, how was my birthday yesterday? How did I celebrate my very SPECIAL/LUCKY DAY? It was super fun. That was one of the best birthday party I have had in my first twenty one years here on earth. It was well-spent because of you guys (my family, blogger friends, college friends, best friends, co-leaders, Pathways family, TOSP family, TYG family, and many more). I spent the fantastic night with my TOSP friends (Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines) in the GK designer’s night (cocktail party) organized by Tony Meloto, the founder of Gawad Kalinga (GK) to celebrate the hero-ship of young leaders who work on nation building at NBC tent, global city, Taguig. It was a great event; top executives of established companies, eminent political leaders ( including Vice President Noli de Castro ) and academic leaders, and professionals were there to commemorate my birthday and the event ( the latter is true ). Ryan Cayabyab and his singers entertained us. After the event, we hopped in ba...

waah... am turning 21

888 August 08, 2008 - It's my Birthday! I'll bet many people tell their computer it's their Birthday. (Do I capitalize "birthday"?) On friday (August 08, 2008) is mine - lucky day according to the Chinese tradition. Suffice it to say I'm turning 21 years old and older (how cool is that!). Now that I'm turning 21, I can buy porn and cigarettes without having to worry about the hassle. On the same day is the opening of the 2008 Olympics at Beijing, China. So happy that they arranged it with me to have the opening ceremony on my birthday. Watch the fireworks on that day, it's for my birthday and Olympics. Kiddin' This will be my first time to celebrate my birthday away from home. Well maybe I'm just gonna make my self a birthday cake and eat it all up, party with my TOSP friends at The Port or attend the Coke bloggers party at MOA by night, and play my all time favorite game - capture the flag (Lol). As I get older but younger in heart, I ponde...
